Saviani classifies the theories in two categories: not-critical and the critical-reprodutivistas. The not-critical ones are the Traditional Pedagogia, the New Pedagogia and the Pedagogia Tecnicista and the theories critical-reprodutivistas are the Theory of the education system while symbolic violence, the Theory of the school while ideological device of the State and the Theory of the dualista school.
